The B. L. Fisher Library at Asbury Theological Seminary offers ePLACE, a digital repository that currently presents four unique collections: Asbury Seminary eCommons, TREN dissertations (Theological Research Exchange Network), First Fruits Press, and Special Collections. The goals of the repository are to preserve Asbury Theological Seminary history, present an online space for scholarly communication, make academic material available to scholars worldwide, and share unique and valuable resources that would not otherwise be available for research. This session will give participates a chance to learn what Asbury Theological Seminary has been doing concerning digital preservation and open access since 2012. Additionally, this session will give a chance for other to share and learn about digital preservation and open access.
